A family accused of engaging in organized criminal activity were in front of a judge today.
All three of them, 61 year-old Pedro Estrada, his wife, 59 year-old Olivia Estrada and son, 29 year-old Erik Estrada faced a Judge Luis Sanez. They were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly selling drugs out of their Harlingen home. During the arrest, the District Attorney's Special Operations Group, along with police, seized three grams of a control substance, $600 dollars in cash and two vehicles.
Each suspect faces a charge of engaging in organized crime and delivery of a controlled substance. In addition to those charges, Pedro Estrada faces another charge for possession of marijuana. His wife got a third charge for possession of cocaine.
The judge set their bonds at $40,000 dollars for Erik, $45,000 dollars for Pedro and $60,000 dollars for Olivia.
