The Texas Speaker of the House was in the Valley Wednesday.

Tom Craddick focused on issues affecting residents in the Valley including border security, health care, and education.

Craddick says the state has already put $100 million dollars into securing the borders, and they plan to spend more in the future.

The issue of border security, health care, and education will be brought up in the 81st State Legislative session in January of next year.
