BROWNSVILLE — Get Out the Vote groups made their final push to get people to register to vote on Monday with the help of one local pharmacy. Independent pharmacists, throughout the Valley, encouraged their customers to register and wanted to make sure they maximized their political clout on controversial issues like Medicaid and Managed Health Care. Los Ebanos Pharmacy owner Robert De La Chica stated, "It's very important, without their vote and without them telling the legislators what they want. There is no way thier going to change any of the system, voting is the only way to change what we need to change."
