Many missionaries cross back and forth through our borders, but in the wake of Nancy's Davis death, on a highway in Mexico, it has halted some missionary organizations to do just that.

Guillermo Berman is the coordinator for the Methodist Church of Mexico in Reynosa, Mexico and he says they take every precaution. They also take any travel alerts very seriously before traveling into Mexico and have stopped going into the city of San Fernando in the wake of Nancy's death. They have started flying missionary groups into cities such as Monterrey, Mexico and members of his church are escorted in their vehicles as a safety precaution.

We are so very grateful to Willie and how he has worked to keep us all safe while on missions in Reynosa. May God continue to keep all of our missionaries and support workers in Mexico safe.
