Kids ticketed after opening charity lemonade stand outside of U.S. Open.

A lemonade stand set up by four kids outside the gates of the U.S. Open golf tournament is out of bounds according to Montgomery County, Maryland officials.

On Thursday afternoon the montgomery county department of permitting services issued a warning because the kids didn't have a vendors license.

When they didn't shut down their stand the county then slapped them with a fine of up to $500.

"We don't want this to impact the major bus route that comes in and out that brings fans in the tournament," said Permitting Officer David Niblock.

The children and their parents have vowed to keep the lemonade stand running for the entire tournament, and say they will donate all money collected to pediatric cancer research.
