Beloved comic actor Leslie Nielsen has died at the age of 84.

Actor Leslie Nielsen, a master of pratfalls and parody, has died.

Nielsen died at a hospital near his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He was being treated for pneumonia.

The Canadian-born actor was known for several comedic roles, including the hapless doctor in "Airplane!" and the accident-prone detective in "Naked Gun."
