The man who created the Texas Ranger Recognizance team is speaking out about the border violence and smuggling contraband that occurs so much.
Captain Robert Bullock is the man who brought several local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to combat the drug cartels operation along the border. Captain Bullock is retiring after several years working with the Department of Public Safety and says he remembers crossing into Mexico when he was much younger with no fear of any gunfight and hopes that same environment will soon be restored. Bullock was given a certificate of appreciation that was presented by the department's chairman Allan Polunsky.
