LA JOYA - October is National Stop Bullying Month. In the Upper Valley, one school district is taking those words to heart.

News Center 23 Reporter Erin Murray takes us inside the classroom to learn how schools are trying to stop bullying.

Sometimes it's a mean word, other times it's a push in the hall, or maybe a rude remark on Facebook. All of these things are actions that if done over time are considered bullying.

The La Joya School District is tired of bullying and through an anti-bullying initiative, teachers are going a step further to educate students about bullying.
