EDINBURG — The victim, who was kidnapped on the campus of UTPA, was found safe and has been reunited with her family. Police, Texas Rangers and the FBI assisted in the investigation of the kidnapping which occurred in the campus parking lot on Tuesday night. University police are not releasing anymore information on the crime and how or why she was kidnapped by her abductors. Campus police say they will continue to improve low lighted areas around the buildings.
