Elementary school boys hit the big time as a rock band in L.A.

They're only in elementary school, but they've already hit the big time. A group of young rockers from Pacifica, California are now known as the youngest rock band in the world.

Ten and eleven years olds from Pacifica who prefer rock legends over Justin Bieber. Influenced so much the boys decided to call their band, Haunted by Heroes.

Have you ever seen a sixth grader play six strings like this?

Meet Getty, Charlie, Brandon and twins, Chris and Nick.

Together they're known as the youngest rock band in the world. Making waves in LA, playing at venues like "Whiskey a Go-Go", they normally wouldn't be old enough to enter. And later this month they'll be on the same bill as Motley Crue at the Sunset Strip Music Festival.

The boys started rocking not long after they were rocked in the he cradle. The band members first met here at day care. That's when they were only two and drumming on toys.

Then they moved onto video games. Since then they all agree, one thing has enabled them to be this good. Sure, brothers Chris and Nick admit sometimes there are tiffs between riffs.

Haunted by Heroes mostly performs their own material, written by Nick.

Sure there's fame, fun and girls going gaga. But being in this band has other benefits. They certainly perform at a different level than most kids their age. Musical middle schoolers doing their part to make sure rock and roll is here to stay.
