BROWNSVILLE - A jury has been selected in the trial of 52 year-old Dennis Wade  Capps accused of murdering Brian Aldrich on South Padre Island more than five years ago.

Prosecutors are trying to prove that Capps murdered Aldrich after robbing him of several hundred dollars. Police report that Capps punched Aldrich and then hit him with a frying pan and a TV. The trial is set to begin next Tuesday.
