A hearing was held on Tuesday in Cameron county for the recusal of Judge Elsa Cornejo Lopez in a capital murder case.

The motion was denied by a presiding judge in the murder case of a Harlingen woman found dead and stuffed inside her refrigerator. Three men are accused of killing Rose Marie Gonzales in her apartment on February of 2009.
