A judge called a mistrial in the case of a teen convicted of a deadly San Benito stabbing.
Jurors ruled Jesus Herrea is guilty of manslaughter in the death of Alejandro Cervantez in 2007. The first judge in the case had to recluse herself after the guilty verdict because of another case in which one of the attorneys in her court room representing her. Judge Arturo Nelson stepped in for the sentencing phase and he declared a mistrial because jurors could not come to a unanimous decision. On Friday the judge will decide if Herrea should be given a bond, but the DA's office Herrea is a flight risk.
