HIDALGO COUNTY, TEXAS (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — It's official, that Pope Benedict the 16th has retired and he is the first pontiff to do so in over 600 years. The former pope stated he would pray for the Cardinals, in the coming days and weeks, as they would gather to choose his successor.
