I.W.B.C. to Release Water from Falcon Dam
The I.W.B.C says the floodways in the Valley may have to be used again to divert water from the Rio Grande. They will be increasing releases from Falcon Dam from 88 hundred cubic feet per second to 11,500 cubic feet per second on Wednesday morning. The I.B.W.C. says the Rio Grande flow may reach a level requiring diversion of floodwaters in Hidalgo, Cameron and Willacy counties later this week.
