The Internal Revenue Service will begin processing most tax returns at the end of January after there was concern over a possible delay because of the fiscal deal that Congress passed and new tax provisions. Now the agency says it will process the majority of tax returns on January 30th a week later than what was expected. Certain taxpayers, including those claiming residential energy credits, depreciation of property or general business credits will have to wait until late Febuary or March to file.
