Woman monitoring contractions with iPad app realizes she's out of time and delivers at home.

You can't always count on technology.

It was a painful lesson for mom-to-be Marcy Woodson.

She was using an Apple iPad to monitor contractions.

"It was a Mother's Day gift which turned out to be ironic," she says.

The gadget indicated she was running out of time to get to the hospital.

Husband Mike called 911 and a dispatcher talked him through child birth.

Medics arrived just in time to finish the job Mr. and Mrs. Woodson started on the living room floor.

Mom and the 6 pound, 2 ounce baby were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Marcy was able to spread the good news on Facebook, posting pictures of her "iBaby" from the back of the ambulance.

Little Graham Woodson was back home the next day and is doing just fine.
