Investigators waiting on autopsy report of elderly man shot by police officers

HARLINGEN, TEXAS (NEWS CENTER 23) — Police are awaiting autopsy results on 87 year-old Price Robinson Perrin after officers were forced to shoot the man when he fired shots at the officers. Police were called to the man's residence on Sunday after a reported disturbance at his home and when officers arrived they witnessed Perrin shoot his wife in the chest causing officers to draw their weapons and demand that he drop his weapon. Investigators say they are questioning family members and Perrin's wife, who is recovering at a local hospital, in an attempt to find out the man's motive for the cause of the disturbance.
