Investigators rule man's death as homicide
BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Brownsville detectives continue to investigating the murder of a man whose vehicle is believed to have been stolen after his death.
On Friday, August 23rd, police were called to 2945 Sandia Street, by a family member, and found Servando Betancourt, 51, dead.
Police report that Betancourt's vehicle, a 2003 Blue Ford Escort with Texas license plates CD8-T468, is believed to be stolen.
Detectives continued their investigation into the crime scene on Saturday and questioned residents in the neighborhood.
