The Hidalgo county sheriff's department confirms that Texas Rangers are looking to make more arrests in a theft case, involving more than $80,000 dollars.
So far two former Hidalgo county sheriff employees and a loan manager are facing charges. Sheriff Lupe Treviño says that three individuals bonded out, but the Texas Rangers may be arresting two more suspects. The sheriff fired Jose Villarreal and his twin brother Juan Villarreal on Monday morning after an investigation revealed the brothers, along with Juan's girlfriend, falsified names and numbers on car titles for money at the Texas Car and Title Payday Loan Company.
The theft dates back to October 14th and it is believed the group stole around $82,000 dollars.
