Teen finds ash-filled urn on the street.

A Maple Valley, Washington teenager found something he knows is very valuable to someone, but he has no idea who it belongs to.

Tanner Jenks spotted what he thought was an ornate vase in the gutter near a busy intersection.

When he went back to retrieve it, Tanner realized it was an urn, filled with ashes.

Now he and his mother are on a mission to find the owner.

Experts have told them that based on the small size of the urn, it likely contains the ashes of a pet or a portion of a person's ashes that were divided between several people after cremation.
