The controversy in Indian Lake between the Police Chief and an Elderly woman, claiming he roughed her up in a town hall meeting is continuing today.
76-year old, Eurline Atkins filed a complaint against the Police Chief, John Chambers, after she was handcuffed for speaking past her time limit at Monday's meeting.
Chief Chambers says she's now being charged with Disrupting a Public Meeting.
Get this, there's video of the whole ordeal, which Chief Chambers says will prove he did not use excessive force on the woman.
That video is now in the hands of Cameron County District Attorney Investigators.
The man, who filmed the meeting is Indian Lake resident, Mike Bratschi.
He says, he films all the meetings because he likes to be a watchdog for the community.
After the meeting, he says, Cameron County Investigators ordered him to give up the tape, or else he'd be arrested.
Bratschi says, it's important that he gets his tape back.
"I just want a copy of this tape, so the news media will have it, so they can play it, I don't like the way this investigation is going, I think it's biased."
Bratschi called The Texas Attorney General's Office about this issue.
They told him, he needs to put in a written request to get his tape back.
The Cameron County DA's office says the tape can't be released.
It's being used as evidence, all part of this on-going investigation.
