76 people are in custody after Border Patrol agents found many of them in a field.

The immigrants had set up camp in an area near Chapin and Mon Mack Roads in Edinburg.  69 were found Monday and seven more were taken in after a follow up.  The agents got a tip from a concerned citizen and found all of them with the help of a helicopter.

"It's a thick, brushy area, where they had set up temporary little huts made out of sticks and cardboard and whatever resources they could find to make cover," said the Border Patrol's Enrique Mendiola.

It's been a busy last few days for the area Border Patrol, they have a little more than 100,000 detentions this fiscal year; that's the most along the entire border.
