Four dozen people are in custody after three police agencies raided a home in San Juan.

Border patrol, the Alamo and San Juan police departments took part in the immigration raid on Lily Drive this afternoon.

Neighbors say one suspect tried to run away before officers pulled him to the ground.

"I saw like eight cop cars and a couple of DPS, and it looked like they were going to raid the house right here," said neighbor Hiram Sandoval. "They were looking through the windows and jumping the fences and by the time they knew it, they kind of opened the garage and got in and one guy got out and he took off running down the street and police chased him."

The raid started at about 2 p.m. and the area was clear in about an hour.
