At Brownsville's city commission meeting on Tuesday evening a proclamation was given to honor fallen agent Jaime Zapata.

Zapata's parents were there to receive a plaque for Zapata's service, who was killed in Mexico by cartel members, and the city commission also named a street in honor of the ICE agent.
