Men face multiple charges after drunkenly spitting on ROTC volunteer at Arizona golf tournament. Gia Vang reports.

(KPNX) Three men were arrested Tuesday following an assault on an ROTC volunteer and the harassment of security personnel at an Arizona golf tournament.

Michael Allen Duran, 29, Vincent James Hendren, 30, and Evan DiGiovanni, 31, were booked Monday in the Scottsdale City Jail on suspicion of disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Hendren is also facing an assault charge, and Duran is accused of failing to obey a police officer.

Police say Hendren spit on a 19-year-old volunteer dressed in an ROTC uniform and grabbed her arm when she refused to give the trio a ride on the golf cart she was driving. He also threw a plastic bottle at her, according to the report.
