Husband Charged in Beating Death of Wife

Hidalgo county is investigating its second homicide of the year as a woman was brutally kicked to death north of Weslaco after her husband suspected that she was cheating, Josh Navarro tells us more.

Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Trevino says when he first saw the pictures of the beaten woman, it became one of the worst such cases he has seen in his career. Now the husband and his brother are under arrest after admitting to police to killing Farrah Villalobos at her home off of South Saltillo Circle on February 19th. Investigators report that the couple were arguing that morning about suspicions that she was having an affair.

Pedro Villalobos and his brother, Daniel Villalobos, began beating Farrah as some neighbors watched the assault. Farrah had been on life support at McAllen Memorial Hospital for nearly a week, but was removed from life support and passed away. Pedro Villalobos was given a $2 million dollar bond and his brother Daniel a $1 million dollar bond in her death.

How sad that their were neighbors watcing this pair of brothers assult this female and no one rendered aid...I say you arrest them too! What an unfortunate crime against this life! Our society has gone wrong...I pray they who witnessed this never find themselves needing help of any kind! Heads will be turned away....
