Monday afternoon Harlingen police blocked off an area behind the Harlingen Human Society. The funeral home took away human skeletal remains which police say where found by a man around 2:30pm.

Frank Ferrigno lives nearby to the Human Society. He is a pet owner and drops by to donate pet food to the human society.

"It's disturbing i hope they get to the bottom of this."

The Harlingen police department says the Justice of Peace has ordered a full investigation. At this time the identity and cause of the death is unknown.
