BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — In a similar case in Brownsville an alleged human smuggler is sitting behind bars and dozens of illegal immigrants are also in custody.

Border patrol arrested 23 year old Pedro Piedras, a US citizen who admitted to a stashing nearly 90 people inside a home off Squaw Valley Street.

On Monday, Police responded to a call of about three dozen people running beside the railroad tracks in the area which lead them to call in Border Patrol.

That's when they found the house. Interviews helped lead authorities to Piedras.
