Most Colorado hotels say they won't attempt to cater to "marijuana tourism" now that recreational pot use is legal. Lindsay Watts reports.

(KUSA) Like it or not, people are traveling from all over the world for Colorado's legal cannabis.

Since smoking in public is outlawed, will hotels be where people go to smoke? And could that impact other travelers?

Under state law hotels can make up to a quarter of their rooms smoking rooms, but most hotels are completely smoke free.

The Cliff House Lodge in Morrison is one of the few hotels in the state promoting itself as marijuana friendly.

The manager said what they're doing is uncharted territory, but she thinks that it will change, especially in locally-owned hotels.
