Firefighter finds items stolen from his home while responding to a call.

A Vacaville, California firefighter didn't expect to find his tools and equipment stolen from his home last week while on the job.

Louis Jones said he and several firefighters responded to a home on a medical call.

When Jones entered the home he noticed several of his belongings.

"The stuff that I thought was suspicious that was mine was laying on the front yard on the ground," said Jones.

Jones said he saw several tools outside the home, and a firefighter wedge that he ordered online.

Police were eventually called and arrested 47-year-old Ricky Mankini.

Mankini was charged with possession of stolen property and was booked in the Solano County Jail.
