Times are still tough with the economy but Workforce Solutions in McAllen says there are still jobs.

"Our region continues to generate jobs and there are jobs are out there."

Victor Deleon is the public information officer at Workforce Solutions. Currently he says there is wide variety of jobs open.

"Trade, transportation, Retail, Government, and education."

These are just a few of the many jobs are out there but how to do people find them. De Leon says there two websites they use. We start off by going to Work In Texas dot com.
The first thing you do is click job seeker registration. There you will fill out your resume information and then it will create you a profile. Then the searching begins.
We first click on search all jobs on the main page. Then we hit browse jobs by location.

"by location, The McAllen location search and there we go for we found 31."

Then you click on the job that interests you.

"the pay, the credentials they are looking for what they are looking for that particular position."

If that was one jobs you want to apply for there will be a button the bottom and click apply. The resume and information you created will be sent to the employer.
Another tool to search for jobs

These are the most recent jobs in the area.

"Once this website opens they can click Hidalgo county, Starr county, and Willacy county."

We click on Hidalgo county.

"Forklift driver in Pharr, salesperson in Edinburg, medical assistant in Alton."
