In Weslaco, a home invasion shooting has Hidalgo County Sheriff deputies looking several suspects and even the owner of the house.  According the Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened just North of Mile 4 West. Deputies said that several suspects forced their way into the house Wednesday night and that's when the owner of the home opened fire at the suspects and exchanged gunfire with them. The owner ran after the suspects but never returned.

Angel Dominguez, 26, is wanted by Sheriff Deputies for questioning about the shooting, deputies found blood stains and bullet casings on the driveway

“Our preliminary investigation indicates that large loads of marijuana were being stored at the residence," said Sheriff Lupe Trevino. "Angel Dominguez is a criminal illegal alien that has a lengthy arrest record and has been deported 3 times. Even though angel may not have any legal problems with defending his home, he is prohibited from owning a weapon because of his criminal illegal alien and deportation status. We have no leads on the home invaders other that one was probably shot.”

If you know any information about the incident you are urged to call Hidalgo County Crime Stoppers at 668- TIPS
