According to the American Automobile Association 87.7 million Americans are projected to travel 50 miles or more from their homes to visit friends and family through January 3rd.

That's a 3.8% increase nationwide this time last year and a recent travel survey indicated as many as 6.3 million Texans will travel during the Christmas and New Year's Holiday periods.
