Hispanic population grows in Texas

More Hispanics are moving to Texas.

According to newly released date from the U.S.. Census Bureau, six more Texas counties became majority Hispanic in 2012, and two of those, Hockley and Terrell, were among the Nation's six new majority-minority counties.

In particular, growth was seen along the I-35 corridor from San Antonio to Austin, in Hardin and Orange County in Southeast Texas and in counties around Amarillo in the Panhandle.
