High speed chase ends with the use of spike strips

BROWNSVILLE, TX (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Three suspects are in custody after leading Cameron County Sheriff deputies on a high speed chase through the county, Matt Fernandez has the story.
The pursuit started in Brownsville and ended in the city limits of Harlingen as Cameron County Sheriff deputies chased an SUV driven by Elias Zuniga, 21, who is wanted on theft warrants for stealing ATV's in the Harlingen area.
Deputies were forced to use a stop stick, which if the vehicle runs over will cause the tires to deflate, to end the chase and apprehend Zuniga and two other individuals, Frankie Moreno and Diblert Macias, passengers in the SUV.
Sheriff Omar Lucio stated all three are believed to be involved in several thefts of ATV's and additional Moreno and Macias helping Zuniga hide from authorities.
All three are currently in custody at the Cameron County jail and are facing a number of charges.
