MISSION - The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Department has identified the man found murdered on Wednesday in Palmview.

Homicide investigators say he's 65 year-old German Duque Gonzalez who's body was found under a pile of tires just off the road of Five Mile Line. They report he suffered a blunt trauma wound to the head and his vehicle was found on North Louisiana road in Weslaco on that same night.
