McALLEN — A Hidalgo county deputy is under arrest after McAllen police arrested and charged him with driving while intoxicated on Monday evening. Deputy David Garcia after he was involved in a accident where he struck several other vehicles while driving. The sheriff's department has placed Garcia on leave with pay as Internal Affairs officers conduct their investigation.
