HIDALGO COUNTY - The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office and the District Attorney's Office are ruling a toddler's death yesterday in Mission an accident.

Dominique Daze Longwell, 18 months, was run over and killed late Monday morning by his grandmother, who was backing out of the driveway.

The Sheriff's Office said the child died while arriving at McAllen Medical Center at 1:40 p.m.

Information gathered from witnesses and crime scene evidence determined the incident to be an accident.

Child Services is still investigating.
