More than $335,000 dollars worth of cocaine and heroin is off the street after a drug bust at the Brownsville/Matamoros International bridge.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents found the drugs hidden under the clothing of a woman who was driving a Honda Accord. The woman, from Donna, was arrested last Tuesday when she was trying to cross into the United States. Officials referred her to a secondary inspection where they found the packages hidden under her clothing. Nearly three pounds of heroin and just under a pound and half of cocaine was seized.
