Here We Snow Again

Wednesday, February 9, 2011 - 3:48pm

Another massive snowstorm is pushing across the Midwest towards the East Coast.

For the second week in a row the southern plains states are dealing with a devastating winter storm.

It has become a familiar and very frustrating routine: Heavy snow, ice, single-digit temperatures and wind chills well below zero.

In Dallas an icy glaze covers roadways.

Traffic was reduced to a crawl, when it was moving at all.

The capitol dome is covered with snow in Little Rock.

Near white-out conditions made for a tough day across Arkansas.

Even walking is a chore right now.

The trek was just as tough in Wichita, Kansas, where more than a foot of snow covers just about everything.

It won't be beach weather, but there is some good news in the forecast here.

By the weekend temperatures will be back to seasonal norms, in the upper 50s.
