Hedrick Denied Bail on Charges of Child Pornography
The president of Brownsville based Pan American Airways is being held without bond for allegedly distributing images of child pornography.
Robert Hedrick appeared in federal court on Tuesday and was denied bond by the judge. ICE agents arrested Hedrick at his home after a complaint was filed for having shared multiple images of child pornography with undercover investigators in Louisiana and Wisconsin. Investigators say the incidents happened in online chat rooms between September and November of 2010. Distribution of child pornography carries a mandatory minimum punishment of five years in prison, but Hedrick could get up to 20 years behind bars if convicted.
