HEB removes Pretzel Baguettes from shelves due to packaging error

European Style Pretzel Baguette packages have been removed from HEB stores through Texas after it was discovered that Garlic Baguettes were packaged in Pretzel Baguette bags.

Julian’s Recipe, LLC., voluntarily contacted the FDA with their decision to remove the product from Texas stores.

Julian’s European Style Multigram Garlic Baguettes, which contain soy flour, may be deadly to consumers allergic to soy.

The packages have the following identification: Julian’s Recipe European Style Pretzel Baguettes, Net Wt. 11.3 oz (320g)

Consumers may identify the affected packages by the UPC Code: 8 55971 00226 9, Lot Code: L2312and Best Before Date: 02/10/2014 located on the bottom right hand corner of the box.
Consumers who may have purchased the product can return them to the store of purchase for a full refund.
