Study shows American children have low levels of vitamin D.

Many Americans children are not getting enough vitamin D, especially those in minority groups.
Researchers at Children's Hospital in Boston found six million children had levels below those recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Nearly 24 million children had levels below those recommended by other studies and the study itself found 86% of Hispanic children had low levels of vitamin D.
