Study finds link between Alzheimer's disease and cancer.

A new study suggests Alzheimer disease may somehow protect against cancer and vice versa.

Researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis looked at a group of over 3,000 seniors over 65 years of age and followed them for five to eight years. What they found is those seniors who had Alzheimer's disease at the beginning of the study, were 70% less likely to be hospitalized with cancer than those who didn't.
