Pet owners could possibly be getting a tax break if a new Happy bill passes.

The legislation entitled Humanity and Pets Partnered through the Years, or the HAPPY Act, would offer a per person tax break of up to $3,500 dollars for pet care expenses. Animal welfare groups are backing the bill and others say it could also help the economy since the tax break would potentially be used to care for or pamper pets.
