Operation Lone Star Helping South Texas Residents

An event set to help provide health car to more than 11,000 South Texas residents officially kicked off.

Operation Lone Star began early this morning and will be open until Friday July 31st for Cameron and Hidalgo counties. Military personnel, state and county officials as well as hundreds of volunteers are providing free health services to those who are in need, but can't afford them.

Operation Lone Star will provide care from 8am to 4pm Monday through Thursday and 8am to 2pm on Friday the 31st. For more information you can call 211.
