If you have a family member with Alzheimer's disease, do you want to know if you have an increased risk for the illness?
A new study looks at the mental effects of genetic testing. Researchers tested over 150 people who had a parent with Alzheimer's disease. Their depression and anxiety levels were followed for a year after the test. They found those who tested positive for the gene showed no more psychological distress than those who tested negative.
