BORDER - An outbreak of Bird flu in Western Mexico caused the price of eggs and chicken to spike in that country.

That has Mexican health inspectors on the lookout for shoppers who cross the border to buy cheaper U-S eggs and poultry.

as Angela Kocherga shows us, some food items from the U-S are banned in Mexico.

Mexico has vaccinated more then 80 thousand chickens to prevent the spread of the bird flu, and destroyed more then eight million chickens infected with the virus in the state of Jailsco.
