BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — A gas station at the intersection of Texas 100 and FM 803 was evacuated as a precautionary measure to avoid a potential haz-mat situation after a 18 wheeler, transporting gasoline, pulled into the parking and striking a SUV .

The collision was just feet away from the gas pumps and the pumps were shut off and the parking lot cleared by police and firefighters until the situation was cleared and no injuries were reported.
